Under the new fine regime any Return received after the filing deadline will incur a fine of £100. This fine will stand even if you are due a refund. The £100 rises the longer it takes you to file your Return so please don&#8217;t give HMRC any more than they are entitled to by making sure you file your Return before 31 January.</p>
